INTRODUCING

Pastor Candido and Martha Ramirez from the International Ministries of San Diego. For the past 28 years, they have faithfully dedicated their lives to missionary work, serving communities both near and far with unwavering commitment.

Among their many impactful missions is the annual SAN QUINTIN TOY DRIVE, a cherished event where they minister to over 500 children in the San Quintin area. Through their tireless efforts, they bring hope, joy, and the love of Christ to countless lives, embodying the true spirit of service and compassion.

OVER THE SUMMER

THIS SUMMER HAS BEEN A TIME OF GROWTH AND OUTREACH FOR DORKAS. ALLOWING US TO EXTEND OUR SUPPORT TO VARIOUS INITIATIVES:

WE WERE ABLE TO DONATE $500 TO THE KIDS UNDER CONSTRUCTION SBS LED BY PASTOR CANDIDO AND MARTHA RAMIREZ FROM SAN DIEGO INTERNATIONAL MINISTRIES HELPING THEM CONTINUE THEIR WORK WITH CHILDREN.

WE SPONSORED 20 STUDENTS IN LIBERIA BY COVERING THEIR ANNUAL TUITION OF $90 EACH THROUGH PASTOR RANSFORD FROM THE PURSUIT SCHOOL OF EXCELLENCE, PROVIDING CHILDREN ACCESS TO EDUCATION.

WE PROUDLY SPONSORED CARLEEH COMPEAN’S AIR FAIR TO ATTEND THE A MILLION WOMEN TO DC EVENT, WHERE SHE WILL REPRESENT DORKAS AND PARTICIPATE IN THIS GREAT MOVEMENT; DONT MESS WITH OUR KIDS.

OUR NEW EXECTUTIVE DIRECTOR

We are thrilled to announce and welcome our good friend, Luwan Amaha as the new Executive Director of Dorkas D.O.C. Luwam joins us from Ethria and will be pivotal in overseeing key decisions and driving our mission forward. With her wealth of experience and passion for leadership, she will be taking the lead in ensuring the success of our projects, particularly our home - based initiatives and community missions. Luwam brings with her a deep commitment to our visions and values, her insights and leadership will be instrumental in shaping the future of our organization, and we are excited to work closely with her as we embark on this next chapter.
